is behaving pretty normal!!

Lurve them .. Mc Donald's Hot Cakes

If u have not gotten a chance to try the Mc Donald's Hot Cakes. U must go get one NOW!!

Our first experience eating one of these Hot Cakes (us Malaysians call them pancakes lah!), was in Singapore about a year ago. It was superlicious and yummylicious.

We were like .. why lah ... Mc D's in Malaysia not bringing it in wan?

A week ago.. we were BLEST, when Tiff's cousin surprised us one morning. She called Tiff and said, aiyah I'm at Mc Donald's now .. gonna "ta pau" something for you. I was like oooh ... Big Macs in the morning sounds good! :)

But guess what? When she arrived .. she had this delightful box filled with the Yummiest of them all .. Mc Donald's Hot Cakes! HAPPINESS! :)

Apparently u can't get them everywhere yet ... but we can attest to you that its Available at the Mc Donald's at CentrePoint (Bandar Utama). So take a detour lah and go get some HOT CAKES!!

In case u are wondering how they look like, we love 'em so much .. we took a picture of the signboard (sure sign of addiction) .. u can see it below! :)

Day 2 : 2008 Olympics Symbol in Senado Square, Macau

The Beijing Olympics 2008 are around the corner. And we had a pleasant surprise when we were at the Senado Square in Macau. I trust one of their promotional efforts was to feature the following Olympic Symbols for China.

Since I don't read Chinese, I wasn't sure if this was a competition on who will design and create the best Olympic Symbol for Beijing Olympics 2008.

Check it out .. i am sure you will be facsinated like me.

This was a Banner introducing this Exhibition.

As you can see there were many many Olympic Symbols.

I only picked those that i liked!! Hope u like the ones i picked.

The exhibition was out in the open at Senado Square.
And the Exhibits were in twos .. and it went on for quite a bit!

I like this Olympic Symbol, the chrome setting
surrounding the man with the Olympics symbol on top.

This was really unique too. Chrome figurines running thru a boxed frame.

This was kinda weird. All the people's heads stuck together!
Hmm .. a Ball of Head?

(as in Birds of the Feather Stick Together)


This was super unique. You couldn't see the figurine's face.
His back was to you, and he was looking into a concave mirror.

As you can see i had to be creative to take this shot! :)



Umm .. this was a team of Basket ball players
dunking the basket ball into the Hoop.
Strangely they were stacked on top of each other!


Umm .. as u can see i like Chrome.
But have no clue what these are!!

Day 2 : Morning Visit to St Paul's Ruins & Senado Square

It is so irritating that there is no free wireless connection in Macau. Or none that I could find that is.

Lim brought me out walking in the early morning of our second day. Promised me a great local breakfast if I followed him out.

We passed the Mc Donald's in Macau .. but he said .. nope this is not it!!

And off we went ...... in search of this awesome breakfast trip at seven in the morning. And guess what he bought .... MAN THOU! (or Pau)

Reached this square in Macau called the “Pan Sui Chi” … which in direct translation means Fountain Pond! [Senado Square]

Anyway … we saw the Oldest Post Office in Macau .. which dates back to more than a hundred years old. Curiously the superstructure stood the test of time and its still standing strong in the square.

Apparently the above alley is very famous for HK actors and actresses when they do filming. But no such recollection of this alley. Rings a Bell anyone?

There was also an exhibition of the Beijing Olympics 2008, which really had interesting symbolic models of the forth coming Olympics. [Click on the Link, cos tons of Photos]

Lim took me on a wild goose chase. We were suppose to go to the St Paul’s ruins. But after walking like 20 minutes and all UPHILL!! (Mind you the uphill was like 60 degrees gradient) with uneven foot steps, which made the journey even tougher.

Lim kept saying, yeah this way, lets follow the students (tons of school children walking to school) as he remembered a school next to the St Paul Ruins. Believe it or not, we took the wrong turn and ended up at the Macau Fortress. Which was like 100 feet higher than the St Paul’s ruins.

I was complaining non stop (due to the high gradient of steps) and the wrong turn, but Lim just said .. check out the view …. Isn’t it gorgeous?

When you look thru the eyes of the Telescope ...

Well the air was cold … it should have been at least 13 degrees Celsius, and we were on top of a hill. Nevertheless the view was breathtaking as you could see the whole of Macau from atop the Fortress.

It was also at the Fortress, where we found the mistake of the wrong turn. So Lim said … “See you can see the St Paul’s ruin from another angle!”
“Apa-lah!!!” Was my retort!

See a Canon... yes .. confirm its a Fortress!!

Hmm from the top of the Fortress, i saw this guy

doing exercise balancing on a Wired Fence.

Wow!!! .. talk about good stomach muscles!

We passed the Macau Museum ... and then

Finally, after checking out the entire Fortress, we journeyed to the ruins,

Took a couple of pics like a typical tourist.

And then finally made our way to the Wong Chi Kei Noodle shop. We had great won ton noodle (mine dry, Lim’s soup based) and it was sumptuous. The founder of Wong Chi Kei learnt the skills of making noodles from the Hua-Yuan master in the 1940s in Canton.

So if you guys ever make it to Macau, go to the Senado Square

be sure to look for Wong Chi Kei Noodle Shop!!!!

As we were walking back after the Revenue Management Conference, i just couldn't help but take out my camera and snap this shot for you all to see.

I mean ..... where else in the world will you ever see Ronald Mc Donald in this pose?

He was posed like a Thai, Palm together and bowed slightly!

It was so so so funny! Didnt care the stares, when i took out the camera to snap the shot. :)

I Found The Best Thai Food in Bangkok!!!

Was exploring Bangkok on the Sky Train earlier.
(Was trying to find the Pan Pacific Hotel - Bangkok).

Took the Sky Train from Saphan Taksin ...

Exited at Sala Daeng Sky Train Stop ...

Walked a few steps .... and i found this .......

Simply simply AWESOME!!

I should have taken a picture of Ronald Mc Donald's cos .. he was posed like a Thai, Palm together and bowed slightly! That was so so so FUNNY!!
