And The Winner of American Idol is . . .

At least my final prediction (here) is correct. And I am really glad that Jordin won... she is young and talented and has a great great voice. I can only imagine the future for her at 17 years old ...
WOW!! She must be the Youngest American Idol!!

Can't wait to catch it on TV tonite!

Jordin Sparks crowned as 'American Idol'
Jordin Sparks, a teenager with a big voice and big dreams, was crowned Wednesday as the newest and youngest "American Idol."

Sparks, 17, of Glendale, Ariz., prevailed over beatboxer Blake Lewis, 25, of Bothell, Wash., after a triumphant performance Tuesday that wowed the show's judges and the viewers who gave her the majority of the record 74 million votes cast.

"Mom, Dad, I love you," Sparks, the daughter of retired NFL player Phillippi Sparks, said after hugging Lewis.

You have to admit that it's the weakest American Idol season ever! No one deserved to win it this season. :-P

The show is the weakest of all seasons. And it is so predictable.

Jordin will end up like Taylor Hicks, can't sell much album while Blake will enjoy the success like what Chris Daughtry has.

The show is so bias and every year they are producing the winner of the same type of genre.

Well agree with Gallivanter that the "standard" has dropped for this year's idol selection.

But nevertheless, last nite's show with Jordin singing especially the song "THIS IS MY NOW" .. that was really fabulous!

I guess being this young, she will have more opportunity to grow and mature. As for the Soul Patrol "Taylor Hicks" his genre his very niche, so i guess that's why Daughtry is doing better than him!

Jordin rocks with This is My Now!
